This 4 in. small-aperture Air-Tight Non-IC Remodel Housing provides accent and task lighting for remodel applications and is ideal for those who do not have easy access above the ceiling. Use with a variety of trims and finishes to create different lighting effects or match any decor. Its gasketed air-tight lamp housing prevents conditioned air from escaping into the attic space, reducing unnecessary HVAC energy usage. The installation springs adjust to fit ceiling thicknesses from in. to 1 in. The housing is constructed from die-formed corrosion resistant galvanized steel. It features a universal J-box with snap-out sides and provided with push in connectors to make wiring quick and easy. Simple installation mounting springs press and lock into place, making installation quick and efficient. Hanger bars include t-bar mounting clamps for use in suspended t-grid ceilings. The integrated temperature sensor prevents lamp overheating, allowing this fixture to be used with a range of lamp shapes and wattages.
